The current Barnstormers Field Marshall is Lee Hopper. Lee has
responsibility for identifying what work needs to done to insure a quality
airfield environment. This includes the runway, both grass and surfaced, the pit
area, the frequency kiosk, the grounds, to include the driveway and parking
area, the drainage ditches, the picnic area, the toilet, trees, shrubs, and last
but not least, the GOPHERS!!. This is a large responsibility and requires the
assistance of 'you' as members of the club.
As the need arises, the Field Marshall will identify tasks and the
associated costs of the work he feels needs to be done. This information will be
brought to the attention of the membership for approval in the normal monthly
membership meeting. Once approved, Lee will post a date and a time and will
itemize the work that needs to be done. This information will be posted to this
web page. It is up to the membership to respond to the Field Marshall's request
and make themselves available to complete the work on the date and time
requested.

The PIT area recover project is complete!. The
remaining task is to plant some grass in areas that need ground cover. The
picture below shows how nicely the new PIT area looks. A great job by Dick
Swaringen, Dave Waring, and the Barnstormer Volunteers who helped when called
upon.
